Mary is a Career Coach, Trainer & Outplacement Consultant with a particular expertise in strengths-based coaching. Mary helps clients understand their strengths, development needs, untapped potential & stressors, facilitating insight & clarity for further development. Mary has delivered programmes to employees from operator level up to senior management in blue chip companies. She also provided guidance services to graduates and under graduates with AHEAD; the association of higher education, access & disability, a division of UCD. In addition, she lectured with the National College of Ireland on their Diploma in Firstline Management for two years, prior to moving back to Cork. She has a significant background in training & development, having very successfully delivered many programmes in the voluntary, private and public sectors. Additionally, Mary worked for over 15 years in the Health Service where she used her skills & knowledge in the areas of change management, transformational & purpose driven leadership, collaborative team working and people development.
Mary has studied Psychology to degree level and holds an honours M.A. in Learning & Development (consultancy) from UCC. Her work is driven by her passion to help clients progress and find greater levels of happiness & wellbeing. On assessment Mary shows herself to be strong in the areas of Mission (her need to find meaning & purpose in what she does), Authenticity, Emotional Awareness and Change Agent.
