 Join us for the launch of our new SUNDAY FUNDAY programme. There's something for all ages, from Pop-Up Tours to Art Workshops to Storytelling! 

Pop Up Tour with Dr Michael Waldron:

2.15pm: Lower Gallery - Portrait of a Lady as Hibernia (c.1800) by Robert Fagan

2.30pm: Gibson Gallery - Les Sabines, after David (1970) by Robert Ballagh

2.45pm: Top Floor - St Brendan and the Unhappy Judas (1911) by Harry Clarke

Me - My Body- Its Very Nature -

Family Friendly workshop for all ages, children and adults  

Exploring themes from works by Alice Maher, Kathy Prendergast and Dorothy Cross from the The Naked Truth and Vox Materia exhibitions we will delve into the material embodied world, searching for the plant/human/animal nature in things, finding human form in response to the environment and embodied empathy with animal/plant life, we will be drawing from our own body extending into other forms, hybrids and transformations, the plant and animal self, a magical realism.

Storytelling for 1-4year olds with Rosie
Join Rosie on our magic carpet for some theatrical and interactive storytelling.

Inspired by our Heroes and Villains exhibition and Legends of Ireland, Fionn and the Giant will be imaginatively retold by Rosie.
