2020 Quartet at Triskel Arts Centre - Beethoven Online
For the final concert in the Beethoven 250 series, the Irish Chamber Orchestra’s charismatic leader, Katherine Hunka, is joined by three of Cork’s finest musicians, Marja Gaynor, Cian Ó Duill and Aoife Nic Athlaoich. Their programme is one of great contrast, the most Mozartian of Beethoven’s quartets, the A major Op.18 No.5, giving way to the concentrated drama of the Serioso quartet Op.95 in F minor.
