Cork Airport Destination Guide - Focus On Leeds

Leeds is Britain’s fourth largest city and a vibrant university town to boot, known to many for its famous football tea. If you’re looking for a quick hop weekend away, Leeds has much to offer. Its impressive Victorian architecture is largely intact and easily explored on foot.
The city boasts a vibrant cultural scene and is home to both Opera North and the Northern Ballet. Leeds also makes for a wonderful base to further explore the north east and north west of England – regions of outstanding natural beauty, such as the Yorkshire Dales. York, with its wide range of historic and cultural attractions, is only a 40-minute drive away.
Leeds is home to a number of festivals from music festivals and beer festivals to the Yorkshire Festival which has something for all the family. With an eclectic nightlife, Leeds is also a good option for those looking for a relaxing long weekend, with events, shows, late bars and nightclubs to suit all tastes.
There are three weekly services on the Cork – Leeds Bradford route operating every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Seats for Leeds Bradford are on sale now at
